I tried a Lexard and will NEVER NEVER NEVER try ANY other screen protector BUT the MicroSolutions ProGuard models from Amazon. They are like having nothing there but having the advantage of scratch, fingerprint and UV and glare protection. You don't even know it's there they are THAT transparent. I hate the Zagg models, they are like having a comb filter on the screen....yuck. I can't say enough about Microsolutions, they ROCK. Worth every penny and more they charge for them, and you get 2 of the screens in a package. :-)
Thanked by gsciorio.

Best bet is to cut it with a sharp and long paper cutter and then round it later on with a very sharp scissors. It's not easy to find a matte finish screen protector. :)

I bought a thin glass-based rigid protector for the E-P3 (they don't have any for E-M5 yet). Fit like a glove, looks stock, and doesn't interfere with the touchscreen.

IMHO it seems like the E-P3 ones are cheaper than the "new" E-M5 ones; don't waste your money on an E-M5 protector!

I agree. The Proguard is awesome. I was street shooting yesterday in the rain with the OMD, HLD-6 and the 12-50 and nothing, including the ProGuard, failed me.

Whats even cooler is while I and the OMD were soaked rain-street shooting the files were being transfered while I shot to iPad in my backpack. Check out my Instagram to see the shots - gsciorio

I used a spare Ghost Armor iPhone 4s protector I had. Cut easy with a ruler and a razor blade. Round the corners slightly and viola! Invisible and works wonderful.

ProGuard seems to be very hard to find.
Do you have any sources ???

Amazon has the one for the P3 which is virtually identical fit. That is what I got as I didn't want to wait for the supposed perfect OMD model. I'm told by MS that the difference is the Super Hydrophobic coating. I am not sure I can tell the difference. Mine doesn't fingerprint either.

I can't seem to find it... only phone models. Does anyone know how this compares to clarivue? I use those on my phone and love them.

hrm, found it by clicking on their actual name to bring up their storefront. Amazon search didn't bring it up it seems. http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Solution...927170&sr=1-17

But this is for the E-PL3, is that what you meant? or is there another one that they carry?

They must have sold out. I ordered one last week and it's expected to be delivered today. Here's the link to the out of stock E-P3 Pro Guard on Amazon: Amazon.com: Micro Solution Digital Camera Anti-Fingerprint Display Protection Film (Pro Guard AF) for Olympus PEN E-P3 // DCDPF-PGOLYMEP3: Camera & Photo
