Had silver kit ordered from B & H on June 7. Shipping today. Looks like they are catching up with orders.

Update: I just got a message from Adorama saying that the em5 has shipped! Too bad it shipped too late... Oh well I guess Ill have some time to play around with the camera while my wife gets back :) Got the flash too.. Lets see how long it takes for the battery to be available...

Update: Yep, the flash was defective, got a new one in today from ACE and it seems to work fine.

This completes the kit.

Anyone purchase from Oly America? I'm still waiting and should wait another 10 days by the last estimate. I'm curious to know if someone has received something from them... like maybe an E-M5?

B&H's website now says that the OMDs are expected by July 30th, but the rebates end July 21st.

They shipped a black 12-50 over a month ago and also a black body which was returned.

I emailed Olympus and ask them if the rebates would be extended again, since the camera is still not available. It looks like you are out of luck with the rebate if your order isn't processed by the 21st.

Here is their response to my email:

Unfortunately, the rebate will not be extended past July 21st. Due to overwhelming response it had already been extended once but are unable to extend it further.

Hopefully, you'll be able to get your camera by end of next week. What model configuration did you order?
