So near the Manzanos....I do miss living in NM sometimes and the east mountains are nice.

Hmmm, I'm not having an issue finding that 3-D rendering. These were taken with the E-620, which is essentially the same sensor found in the Pens, but with a stronger AA filter.

How about the E-410 (10 MP)?

I guess a solution would be to just shoot a panorama.

I did this little guy over three years ago, with an Olympus E-410 (10 MP) and the firecracker of the Zuiko Digital 35mm f/3.5 Macro (@ f/11). 7 shots, with the overlap makes about a 24 MP shot.

Thanked by EP1-GF1 and littleMT.

I don't see it. One thing is that stopping f/11 on a Micro 4/3 camera is going to introduce some softening due to diffraction, which will in turn limit the "pop" of the image. Other than that, I don't know what you could be referring to. Samples of what you're seeing would help.

There's nothing I can add until fransglans can post some examples. The Canon 50D is a nice camera but there's nothing magical about it.
Thanked by WT21.

I haven't red all replies but I try to explain my point of view.
I think you mean for flatten image the lack of tridimensionality in a picture. Tridimensionality is different from depth of field, is not a physical and measurable element.
Even we could have a tridimensionality image all in focus.
I think tridimensionality is prerogative of some lenses, sensor size has nothing to do with it!
Try zd12 f2 or panaleica 25 and you will find more tridimensional images!

I like my m4/3 just fine, thank you. You won't get as much of a 3D effect as you would with a D700 at f/1.8 on a 50mm lens, but my photos don't look flat to me. I guess part of it is one's decisions on post processing.

All from my E-M5 :-)

OKAY....maybe this last one looks a little flat, but then....most everything is the same distance from the camera :-)

Finally, here's a Nikon D700 shot at 5mm f/1.8 for comparison. It is what it is.
