I got the Micro Solution protector for E-M5 from Amazon. It comes with 2 protection films in the package. However it's currently out of stock.

It has been working great for me. The funny thing is that small or tiny size bubbles will develop every once a while and then disappears on their own after some hours/days. Just make sure you keep the work area as calm as possible when installing to avoid dusts landing on the sticky surface.

One good trick for any activity where you want to minimize the possibility of dust landing on your work is to run your shower for a few minutes, then turn it off and do your work in the bathroom. The temporary very high humidity caused by the running water tends to knock dust out of the air and reduces the possibility of static charges too.

Saying that, I don't think they made one specifically for the E-PL1 either - but I bought a 2.5 inch GGS on ebay and the fit is perfect on the E-PL1.

On my GF3 (touch screen) I use a brand called Swido, they make one for the E-PL3 as well. A bit stiffer than most plastic protectors and so easier to apply and also no air bubbles. I have tried a couple of other protectors (Vikuiti and ScreenPatronus) but prefer the Swido one.

The Micro Solutions one I saw recommended on here previously but I could not find a UK stockist or a way to buy them from the UK.

I have an E-PL1 arriving soon, and wanted an LCD protector similar to the films I put on my ipod, however I haven't found any specifically for the E-PL1 - some are DIY and cut to fit.

There are two GGS models on Amazon, a 2.5" and a 2.7". The E-PL1 has a 2.7" screen, so would the 2.7" be the one to go with? On your E-PL1 witht he 2.5" GGS, does the adhesive edge stick to the actual LCD screen or the camera body around it?

Oops - sorry, you are correct the E-PL1 screen is indeed 2.7" not 2.5" and the 2.7" screen protector is the one I got (just checked my archived ebay purchase history). This is the one I bought:

2.7" GGS DC LCD Screen Protector For Canon Nikon DSLR | eBay

It fits to the edge of the LCD screen, just the bit with the border might go on the body? I can take a picture of mine tomorrow if you like - but there is also a picture of one fitted here (the border on the protector makes it easier to fit as well):

I have edited my original post to change 2.5 to 2.7 just in case anyone else reads it and gets the wrong one.
Thanked by Stewmander.
