I have skinny fingers and not large hands. I'll add it doesn't impact dial use for me.

Anyone if the Arca mount on the grip will work with this system:

The Capture Camera Clip System by Peak Design - wear your DSLR camera on any backpack strap or belt.

re the Peak clip:

it works if you screw the peak base to my grip base. An advantage is the peak base is now a bit lower on the camera and does now nothing interferes with the lcd movement.
Because the peak clamp has a stop, you can only load the camera into the clamp one way, so with the peak on your right shoulder strap, the lens would point to the right.

thanks to Jae for his assistance
Thanked by mclarenf3 and FlyPenFly.

Met John over the weekend and he's a stand up guy with an unbelievably great workshop right in the Brooklyn Navy yards.

His grip has a big advantage over the HLD-6 in that you can swap the internal battery without removing the grip. Something you can't do with either parts of the OEM grip.

I wasn't sure I needed a grip but it improved handling more than I thought when using the camera at odd angles with the tilt screen.

Thanks for the tour John!

Has anyone got a few pics of the JLM grip mounted on a Silver body ?

Ive looked at the RRS grip, its pics are in silver but says the finished version would be in black , im interested if anyone can compare the RRS Grip to the JLM grip. I live in Thailand so am looking to buy whatever one would offer a good shipping price

Thanks
