Turn off the IBIS? Usually so, but this is different than a VR lens.

With the E-620 and E-PL1, I've found that the images were sharper with IS off when on a tripod.

I've yet to mount the E-M5 to a tripod, however. My take is that if you don't need it, disable it, but yet the new IBIS is a different monster.

Check the owners manual. It showed it in the E-P1and E-PL2 manual to turn off IBIS when on a tripod. My guess is off.

I just looked at the manual online. Page 49, says off for tripod use.

Easy enough to pop it on a tripod and take test shots with and without IBIS and then do some pixel peeping.

I recall reading somewhere someone reporting they had done this and could see no difference so concluded it was Ok to just leave it on.
