Heads up to Canadian users: I got Henry's to special order the OEM eyecup, EP-10, direct from Oly. It was $18.99. It ended up bring cheaper than ordering from the Oly site, as they wanted $20 just for shipping.

Just ordered the EP-10 eyecup from Olympus --- 15.99 &shipping&tax. Ground shipping was only 4.50

I've been warned that the EP-11, advertised as being great for glasses wearers, actually cuts down the view of the EVF. Anyway, I liked the original just fine -- except for the habit it has of popping off. I'll address that when the new one arrives.

But as of Nov. 10, 2012, the EP-10 is in stock at Olympus.

For all Europeans, there is currently an eBay shop from Britain who is selling the BP-10 for a "relatively good" price - if you factor in the shipping costs of only 1£.
(still absolutely overpriced for a piece of hard rubber, though...)

Thanks for the heads-up. Just ordered one, despite the price, since the rubber is coming away from mine and it really annoys me.

I've lost my original EP-10 and decided to put double stick tape on the top of the inside frame of my replacement. Just make sure it's adhered nicely by pushing down firmly on the eyecup during installation and it will be secure.

No accidental dislodges in 3 months!

I was debating about a touch of silicone or something ? I have some good double stick tape so might try that out ?

that insane deal thing I ordered 3 eye cups and a hood for my 60 macro and 2 batteries :) just got my tracking numbers

the stock eye cups were only 7 bucks :) so figured have a few spares this time around

the bigger one sticks out to far for my glasses ? so glad these are coming :)

I tossed a sliver of duct tape in the eyecup groove. Been a few months now and no problems whatsoever.
