Default E-P3 & 12mm f2 porn

mmm, shiny new toys!
Have ordered a remote shutter, and a load of B&W filters to fit the 12mm. I also need to get a few spare batteries, and am waiting for the JNK leather skin for the E-P3 to be released. I am also considering getting a leather half case for it.

Fist impressions are really good. Lens is teeny tiny compared the the big DSLR lenses I am used to, yet really sharp and very well made. The touch screen focusing of the E-P3 is also surprisingly good and usable, especially for photographing hyperactive little nieces!

How do you feel about the silver e-p3 vs black body? Do you think the silver will get more attention in public?

Yes....95% of all cameras are black. The silver gets attention, but many think it's an old film camera if you;re using the viewfinder instead of the LCD.

I would normally go black, but I saw a few pics of the e-p1 & e-p2 in silver and they looked really cool. Anyway, I only really wanted the silver top and bottom plate, as the rest will get covered with black leather like this one;

Then all I need to do is fill in the olympus logo, paint on a red dot and I have a Leica, lol! Ok, maybe that's going a bit far, but I am getting the leather skin for it. And as for attracting attention in public, this shouldn't be too much of a problem as I rarely do any street photography. It is landscape and wildlife photography that this setup is for mainly. Will give me a nice lightish, but good quality setup for hiking.

Sorry ^^

Here 18 years is adult age so the red VM18 tag is a "mature content" for television, books, comics...
