You didn't tick the rustproofing option?!? OMG, don't get it wet (or feed it after midnight)!
Thanked by Chrisnmn.

The paint on my OM-D E-M5 is still waiting to go on, as it's not on the factory's production schedule until sometime early next year when I've saved up enough money to get one...

I did make the mistake of feeding my E-P3 after midnight and it turned into a Pentax K-01.

Black Paint Rub Off - YES - after 7 weeks of careful use paint coming off in front of Flash Shoe. Have a number of other cameras including Oly E510 and E30, all put in a camera bag when out shooting. This is a first for any camera owned, it looks more like something I expect after 2 to 3 years use. Not Happy and Olympus informed.

That paint coming of is nothing new, I had several Canon dslr's, the 5D MKII is also a magnesium body. The black paint is worn out because the strap rubbing the body. And at the bottom you an see the scars of user damage.
Just look on the internet and you find several questions about this.
For example:

black paint for canon body?

I'm really disapointed with my car. I have paint coming off the front ridge on my bonnet. This is outrageous, and it's only 23 years old. Sending it back to BMW first thing tomorrow.

The individual who generated that review needs a little more more fibre in his diet methinks!

Dave in Wales has a wonderful way of winding people up.
When I look at user reports I ignore the top one or two and the bottom one or two, and look more at the middle ground
