I was stupid...I didn't realize you could push the screw up to release it.

Last-ditch idea, as others might have a better idea but try to cool the point where the adapter and the lens meet, it might move since the cooling gives you a -bit- more wiggle room.

Otherwise, I'd just grab the adapter with a grip of some sort and carefully twist off the lens.
