Default EM5 and Nikon 85 f1.4D

I'm learning how to focus and use the magnification feature. Practicing on a sleeping child is easy!!

Nice shot, Terri. That lens looks luscious on the EM5!
Thanked by Terri.

Terri, I have several Nikon lenses to accompany my D7000. What adapter would I need to use them on my E-M5? Thanks.
Thanked by Terri.

They need to be the old lenses that let you set the aperture. There are a lot of different adapters. Google Nikon to M4/3 adapter.

Here is a thread on another photography site that I am on that has all sorts of information.

I just got the Voigtlander F-mount adapter Friday and tried this same combo -- it is specifically why I got the adapter (I have a lot of other Nikon glass but mainly G type and I see no use for it on Micro 4/3rds compared to other glass I've got.)

The speed and DoF control at 170mm effective field of view is quite amazing, although this lens has pretty terrible chromatic aberration. I suspect it'll be best used for B&W where the purple or green fringing will not be conspicuous.

That's a fine image, Terri. Thanks for sharing. The Nikon 85mm, f/1.4D is my all-time favorite lens.
