The problem with c mount lenses in that focal range is that they will vignette.

I have one of those too. I don't particularly consider that lightweight. Not like a Pentax 110 lens. If you are interested in lenses that big, the Pentax K Mount 50mm F1.7-F2 are definitely in that range.

Hi folks, what does everyone think of the OM100 f2.8? I'm considering buying one as it looks like a nice, small, fast tele and wondered if anyone had experience of one?

If you want a small and light 100mm the Nikon E 100 f2.8 is about the same size as the Olympus but a couple of ounces lighter and has great IQ. In fact of all the E series lenses it is considered the best. It is even liked by the E series haters. They are also much easier to find and much cheaper. I have seen NOS Nikon 100s go for what a used but good shape OM sells for. The other thing I personally don't like about the old Olympus lenses is the aperture ring being at the front of the lens body, drives me nuts because I accidentally hit it when trying to focus.
Thanked by arch stanton.

The OM 2.8/100 is a great lens - actually useable 'wide' open on m4/3. I've always found the aperture at the end of the lens to be the killer feature of the OM series - funny how opinions differ.

Default Voigtlander 35mm f/2.5 pancake

It's not a particularly cheap lens because its quite new, but the Voigtlander 35mm f/2.5 pancake is very small and light just over an 30mm with the adapter and about 135g.

I use it with the 20mm f/1.7 and 14mm f/2.5 for my pancake trinity. These are the three I take with me when I don't carry a bag: camera in hand with a lens in each pocket.

If I do have a bag, I'll have the 9-18mm, 25mm, 45mm, and hopefully, some day soon the 75mm.
