I only have about 11 shots with the pl25mm, and yet one of those can be argued is the best to ever come out of my lowly e-pl1.

does this have 3d pop?

Thanked by fredlong, Roger, jloden and 1 others.

I seriously doubt many leica shooters are running around shooting nightshots of cars with a leica lens or leice camera, what would the lieca look be then in this setting?

Oh, it'd be more leica-ish (leica-like?).

the more I thought about this, my shots don't display a Leica look, a p20mm look, or a 14mm look, or a 45mm look, nor do they really display a e-pl1 look from what I see on the wonderful threads here with fantastic images, rather, as I set out to do, they display a 'LittleMT look,' regardless of the lens I use.

I took this one with a summicron-R 35 on a 5D2. IMHO the only lenses that render like this in m43 are f0.95 Voigtlanders:

Highly color corrected, low-contrast. 1934 Summar wide-open.

A 1954 9cm F4 Elmar collapsible on the Leica M8, wide-open.

Leica M8, Collapsible Elmar 9cm F4 collapsible, wide-open by anachronist1, on Flickr

And a Summarit 5cm f1.5, wide-open on the M9, optimized for wide-open use across the focus range. I changed the focal length of this lens.

Lower contrast tends to prevent blown highlights and maintains shadows. Especially nice for digital.
Yes, I've heard more like that. Different toned down colors. Heard the same with Hassy lenses. Anyone know? I uses to shoot Hassy, but never in color.
Thanked by Brian S.

Thats a nice shot but I don't see anything there that the Oly 45mm can't render, but maybe it is just me, I admit I am a novice and beginner, but I honestly have no doubt I could easily pull that same shot off with the 45mm.

Yes they do! And it's a compelling look.
