For whatever help it may be, when I click on the broken link space in the blog, it takes me to the correct picture on Flickr.

If you click on any of the photos not showing up you get to the actual Flickr page....photos can be viewed there as a workaround.

That looks like it might just work! Thanks! I wonder if there's anything similar that would make a Cokin Z-Pro holder work? If so, I might have to take a hard look at my finances and see if the 7-14 can fit in my bag.

Can you perhaps do a write-up on what you did? I really don't understand how you got a 52mm rubber hood attached to it doesn't horribly vignette on the 7-14.

Default It's simple really...

You cut a 52mm collapsible lens hood where the lens hood would normally attach to the lens (remove the screw thread in effect). You then turn it inside out and fix it to the Cokin P filter holder (larger cheap chinese version). You then push that onto the 7-14mm lens hood and attach a filter onto the last slot of the filter holder and push the "adaptor" down the 7-14mm so the filter is against the 7-14mm lens hood. That's it, you will not get vignetting at 7mm if you follow those steps. If you want to attach two filters you will get a tiny bit of vignetting in the top corners at 8mm (easy to remove) and nothing at 9mm. This picture shows how it works

Thanked by Livnius.

same here on the site photo's.

A slight note to everyone, if you need to use 7mm. You will literally have to have the filter with ZERO space between it and the hood. Also beware of your location to light sources below 10mm you'll get some nasty reflections from the filter. I'm currently thinking of a way to shield light from reflecting lol, like a reverse lens hood...

If there are any light sources behind you reflecting into a corner that is easily solved, a strip of tape over the top of the filter holder will clear it.

I think it is a great idea. Thanks for reposting the photos and giving more on the description.
