I have to say that I'm really pleased with the Olympus 17mm lens; it's way better than I anticipated and if Olympus had produced a line of prime lenses of this calibre in different focal lengths, I don't think I'd have bought many manual lenses at all.

Here are a few shots taken in Tasmania last weekend with the E-P1 and 17mm. I just put it into my coat pocket while walking around and took it out every now and again. This really is a pocketable combination and I really like the close up capabilities of this lens.

Nice pictures - nice colour and tone. I've recently acquired the same lens, and I like it too.

I had to sell mine to a friend but I miss it dearly.
