The first 8 shots appear dull to me, they lack punch. The WB could be somewhat warmer too, but that's probably more a matter of taste. For me straight-out-of-camera JPEGs don't do it here.

Apart from that, nice pics. Just curious: did you feel the need to advocate the use of the Oly 45/1.8 after the My gosh the 45/1.8 is an odd duck thread?

I don't need any convincing that the 45mm is a super little lens. Each to their own.

P.S. I wouldn't mind spending some time at that Turkish Kitchen

I don't know why I haven't said the 45mm is my fav lens yet (over the 20mm) but I really think it is....

Lol..You didn't say it ..lol Its beautiful lens actually but I agree with Kevin this focal length isn't for every one and everyday use but I find it quite useful for street photography some how.I love 20 mm as well and I did buy PL 25 mm 1.4 which was spectacular but size was quite odd and big ,perhaps I had a bad copy and wasn't happy with it so I sold it and rebought 20 mm 1.7
Cheers

Your 45/1.8 has actually missed the focus in the images #6 (all the cherries are soft) and #8 (you've got a portrait of a power outlet). When it's spot on though, it is a fine little lens indeed.
