Default The next lens to demand: long prime!

With the Oly 45 now announced and getting ready, I say that the next lens we need to get out of PanOly is a long fast prime, somewhere in the 85-135 range. Personally I'm thinking that a 85mm f/2 or an 85mm f/3.5 macro would be a killer addition to the system.

I agree, although a lot of people would probably appreciate a faster normal zoom, as long as it's reasonably small.

A 135mm f/2.8 would be sick!

If we are getting the promised PEN Pro, lenses like that could well be on the cards. I find it all quite exciting, although they'll never please everyone...

I want something that can replace my 135L. Or come very close. With OIS. without macro.

though, tbh, I don't think this should be our next demand. We need the 35-100/2 .. but not at $2500 =)

I'm using a 100mm OM 2.8. Would love that with AF.
Thanked by Sammyboy.

Default Demands

So long as we are demanding I demand adapters that enable legacy AF. I might actually pay $400 for that.

I completely disagree.

14-50-ish F2.8-ish quality zoom would be spiffing.

I'd buy a meager 12-35mmm F2.8 in a heartbeat. For a telephoto, how about a 150mm f2.8 (or 2.5), or a 300mm f4?
