Yes - it is shinier on the barrel than expected. Here's a quick, quick shot I took when I got home, indoors - taken with my E-M5... and here is my daughter's reaction when I told her the price. SOOC, JPEG. (scroll to bottom of this post for link to the mega-sized image for high-res detail - also untouched):
