I have looked through eBay but there is no specific use for Oly OMD-E5. There are only for others like Sony and Panasonic (?) in general.

Any one that mentions Micro 4/3 will work on the E5.

Something else you might want to consider is the Vivitar 2X macro focusing teleconverter. Goes for between $30-$40 on eBay (that's where I got mine). Downside is a two-stop light loss, but in the right conditions, such as where light is plentiful or, if it isn't, your subject is stationary enough to allow for longer shutter speeds (as opposed to wider aperture--you'll be dealing with rather shallow DOF as it is), it's an relatively inexpensive way to get into 1:1 macro photography.

It belong what you shot. AF better but MF would be very ok for macro. I got 2nd mint Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro 1:1 for 200$ and happy with it because of sharp and longer focal length effective.

Another option you should go: get Raynox 250 for about under 100$. You will keep AF of your lens.

And the last maybe tube :)

Personally I perfer the longer legacy macro's especially with the om-d's great IBIS. Gives you a longer working distance. No need for AF with macro, its nearly useless for that purpose.

Tubes are a way to go but the electronic ones cost the same or more than a legacy lens and when mounted you have a really narrow working distance.

Good 50mm legacy's will run $75 or so and up, 100's $125 and up as ballpark ebay figures. Pawn shop, thrift stores may turn one up for substantially less.

IMVHO....AF for Macro shooting is a no-no, I prefer MF.

I had a Panny 45mm Macro briefly, I sent it back, working distance was next to nothing and it cost an-arm-and-a-leg.

I have settled instead for one of the great Macro lenses, a mint Micro Nikkor 55mm f3.5 with PK 13 extension tube.

The 55mm + PK 13 cost approx 25% that of the Panny 45mm, the working distance has not improved, but think of the money I've saved.

I already got a Canon EF 100 f2.8L IS for macro and portrait but I want to try out with my OMD EM5.
