Hi,

I am a newbie m4/3 user. I had a Nikon D300 and D5000 with few zoom lenses but I got tired of lugging them so I was looking at Sony NEX5 and Oly E-P2 and I am now a proud owner of Oly E-P2 with a 14-42 "kit" lens. Sony NEX5 was really nice and felt really good in my hand but ultimately it's UI let me down. Oly's menu could have been designed better but it's way better than Sony NEX's. I am going to Disney World in September and am thinking about buying Oly 9-18mm or Oly 14-150mm lens. What would you recommend?

The 14-42 will cover 90% of what you need.
I have the 9-18 but I don't use it that much at all...it's a great lens but I'm not seeing the ultrawide..... I would suggest the Lumix 20 1.7. It's the best so far and it will give you the night time to work with....
extra special in low light....

I would suggest a fast, wide-angle lens. The rides are great, no flash photography allowed. If you want some inside shots, a fast wide angle. the Panasonic 20/1.7 would be good.

I used a combination of my panny 20mm and panny 14-140mm when I went to Disney World this summer, and the 14-140mm was used more. It was great and my girlfriend had no problem using the camera.

9-18mm and your 14-42 would be good ... wide is always welcome, and it's not even a burden to carry or store the 9-18mm ... here is one taken by my kid with the 9-18mm at Universal. Still workable at night because of IS and the short focal length.

I used my Pan Leica 4/3 14-150mm lens there last year, and it was a great all rounder. I now have the E-P1 and m4/3 14-150mm so that's absolutely what I would take with me.

I went to Disney World a couple weeks ago with an E-P2 and Panasonic 20mm and often wished I had a wider lens.

Next time I go- I will bring the Kowa 12.5mm F1.4 C-Mount lens with the adapter. Some vignetting at the corners, but not bad. Would be great for the rides.

I have decided to buy an Oly 9-18mm and a Panasonic 20mm f1.7. I wanted to go with a Panasonic 7-14mm but it is kind of pricey. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions!

I'm going in a couple months and am debating whether I would get more use from a wide angle or a telephoto zoom. I have the 20 panny and kit lens, along with a couple 50mm legacies. I've got enough throw aside money from some ebay sales to buy the Oly 9-18 or the tele zoom, but haven't decided which yet. I'm leaning to the wide angle, because I want some shots like shinobi posted. However, I wonder if the 14mm on the kit would get close to that effect?
