Hood or no hood for m. Zuiko 40-150mm?

I've got a 40-150mm on the way for my E-P1, and I was wondering if I should get the hood or not. Any experiences out there?

I use a hood on all my lenses for protection and to get rid of unwanted flare.

I use a hood for it as well. It's not always that you'll encounter glare on the front lens that'll ruin an image (sometimes it can make an image speak more). But having one is definately helpful. The lens is lengthy enough that you may smack it into something, the hood can reduce the possibility of a damage sharply.
