Updated with new 12-35/2.8 and 75/1.8 specs (it has been a busy week!).

Thinking of trying to a graphical version too, but haven't found a good layout tool.

If you are looking for formatting ideas, you might take a look at this list of Minolta Rokkor lenses I discovered recently. I'm not going to say that I particularly like the bright colors or layout of that list, but it does have some interesting ways of presenting the data (e.g. the navigation links at the top to take you to the different focal lengths).

Thanks. Actually, what I meant was something more like the one on four-thirds.org:

The idea would be to compact it, and perhaps use the vertical axis to indicate aperture. As an addition to the original chart though, not a replacement...

Someone else has already undertaken a chart that is similar to what you describe. Might want to take a look at that.

Yes, I just saw that. Thanks. I'm going to hold off, as I can't figure out how to do it while keeping the information reasonably clear (too many overlapping lenses). Plus I'm not a whiz at excel charts!

I also updated the master list with the latest pricing.

Well I found a little time, so I managed to manually construct this chart. It's not nearly as precise as the one Promit posted, but I think it does a good job of summarizing the available lenses at a glance.

Cheers,

DH

Sigma have (or had) a 150mm macro lens for 4/3?? Why was I not informed of this?! Does anyone have one? Are they willing to lend it to me for an indefinite period?

I apologize for not reaching out to inform of this lens' existence earlier. It's been on my to-do list, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

I don't have one or I'd be happy to gift it to you. It's apparently discontinued and it's a pretty tough lens to track down. I don't think they made/sold a whole bunch of them. But, if you're patient there's a rumor that Oly may be working on a similar lens in both 4/3 and forms.
