Yep ordered.

BTW there are several samples on Ming Thien's review of the E-PL5, although not full res. You can see some sharpness degradation at the edges but nothing too bad at these sizes.

In other words, good enough. Which was more than I was expecting:

It's got a totally cell phone camera feel to it. Except you know, with RAW and a much better sensor

Yep, I'm in, pre-order from Olympus.

Thanks! Did you order from Olympus, and when did you order? I ordered from Olympus on Sept. 17, but I haven't heard anything re shipping yet. Hoping it shows up soon, as my E-PM1 needs it urgently!
Thanked by Amin Sabet.

I ordered it. For $60 you can't go too far wrong and it might be a wonderful good-light street lens. The 12 is workable but a little wider than I like, the new 17 (also with the snap MF ring) will be a little long for my taste, 14 is about perfect and 15 is close enough.

And if it sucks, at least I'll have a cheap lens to sell a body with the next time I need to sell an m43 body...

Ordered through my local camera store. Best advice I have at this stage is that it isn't due here in Australia until late this month, early next month and they can't quote me a price as yet.

G'day, I ordered form park cameras in the uk. They said none we're in stock but then some arrived the next day. I hope you get it soon. You'll love it.

I'm starting to get interested in this "accessory" (as Olympus officially calls it, see youtube video with Terada). It would make my E-PM1 a most pocketable camera and would potentially be great for Street.

Alas, price on amazon.co.uk is 70 pounds, and, with the Pany 14mm being sold for ~120 pounds on ebay, I can hardly justify it rationally... If I can get it for 60-65 euro somewhere I'll definitely give it a spin.

I've ordered one from Park Cameras as they still had some in stock. Can't wait to try it out on my GF3.
