Default What's your total investment in M4/3 to date

Just interested

Mine is:

G1 plus 14 45 plus memory card = £430
Two adapter = £100
Leica M to screw = £40 - secondhand
wide angle lens - coming this week = £300 to £400

So I am getting near the magic "grand" figure - which must be on the low side looking at what some of you guys have got

(I have all the legacy stuff I need - for the present time), but I could do with another couple of adapters
Pentax, (both) to M4/3
FD to M4/3

and maybe an Alpa Kinoptik 100mm f2.0 apo , (US$ 3,000 to 4,000 secondhand) - after seeing the images in the adapted lens thread and in the Gallery

G1 plus two zooms: points with the retailer's loyalty card plus 4,000 yen or so

foamy case: 1000 yen or so

"Nikon F5" strap (used) for that super professional look: 1000 yen

Cosmicar 12.5/1.4: $40 including airmail

C-mount adapter: $35 including airmail (hasn't arrived yet)

Konica AR adapter: $60 including airmail

Hexanon 40/1.8: a free present from my younger self

Total about $190 USD. (Was I ripped off?)

What, you mean go over the "Nikon F5" on my strap with a black indelible marker?

For just 400 yen, I got a like-new "Minolta" strap today, with the logo in which the "O" of "MINOLTA" looks like a hamburger. Pimp my Leica! (If only I had a Leica. I don't.)

I used to like the camera (etc) store "Camera no Doi" (of the same group that brought out the Plaubel Makina) but since it went bust I've done most of my shopping at Yodobashi. My wife needs an A3 color laser printer for business? Fine, fine, I'll buy it at Yodobashi -- and the points go on my card. I only wish my employer would let me do the same thing.
Thanked by BBW.

Are you buying these in Tokyo? If so, I think it's time for me to get in touch with my friends in Tokyo and see if they can give me a hand.
