I don't know that this particular situation is really a demonstration of m43 "penetrating the pro world." This seems to be a Panasonic marketing effort, not a decision by Getty or the photographer to choose the G5 because it's the best tool for the job.
I suspect the photog will get many very good shots. But they WON'T be the same kind of shots others are getting using a Nikon D4 or Canon 1Dx and a 300 or 400mm lens.
