We've gotten messages from members who are expressing concern about some of the B&H posts, so we wanted to make sure we are being very explicit/transparent.

As a general rule, commercial vendors/dealers are not allowed to advertise their sales in our forum. B&H is a partner of Mu-43.com and is an exception to this rule.

When B&H posts an item for sale, in stock notice, etc, they are including our affiliate code in their links. What that means is that if you buy the item after clicking on the links they provide, a small referral fee is paid to Mu-43.com from B&H Photo. This partnership is important for helping to pay site expenses, especially now that Lensbaby is no longer sponsoring the site.

We have asked our B&H rep Chuck Capriola to be very selective about what he posts, restricting those posts to deals which will specifically be of interest to and help our members. This includes good deals on Micro 4/3 gear at B&H, in stock notices on hard to find Micro 4/3 gear, and unusually good deals on general use gear (eg, SD cards or software).

B&H is very glad we're in a position to help support this site. I want to clarify the process. It ONLY works if you start here, click through to our site via one of the links here which contain the whole suffix-laden link, which is B&H Photo Video Digital Cameras, Photography, Camcorders and then proceed to shop and place an order without opening a new browser session or new windows or new tabs. All that "?BI=1848&KW=&KBID=2491" stuff tells us where you came from and who gets credit for your business.

The process has to be linear. And once an order's been placed we cannot retroactively credit the site if you placed an order via any other path, or by telephone.

Finally, this costs you nothing. We don't add a penny to the item price nor to any s&h fee your order incurs. You have the opportunity to do this site and Amin a favor at no cost to you whatsoever. Just use the link.
