I'd Bet the BIG USA Stores already have them in their stockroom, waiting to ship on April 16th, the official USA release date.

I will get the Black though.... maybe in a few months, after the first wave is past.

Agreed.

To put this all in perspective, a poster on the DPreview forums has a hunch that it's an issue with the EVF's power supply that causes the humming, and that to solve it, all E-M5 users should decrease the EVF brightness as much as possible. Tell me that isn't backwards

Is this announced somewhere? I thought all we had was it'd be available that day from b&h, which happens to coincide with their re-open from passover by a day

At the risk of being flamed and burnt at the post by all including the OP, do you have a photo of yourself holding the camera? After all, it is 01 April. I thought the orders would not be out for several weeks.

Japan was first. Orders in Canada (I don't know about the States) will be arriving in Olympus warehouses within the next week and a bit, according to the Olympus rep, and shipping to stores right after that.

Just thought I would ask. I have had my son playing April fool jokes on me all morning, and fully expected to see something here when I logged on today.

No disrespect to the OP.

It's a good looking camera. On dpreview, the guy that got the black camera says the grip a bit slippery. How does the grip on the silver camera feel? It looks like textured leather or rubberized but then again I thought the E-P3 was soft rubberish leather thing from the pics but it was sorta like hard plastic lol
Thanked by 2mnycars.
