Letter received from Olympus ... my E-P2 (new in March) is " ... beyond economic repair ..."

If I were you and had an irrepairable E-P2 but was happy to spend the £170 or so on the repair, I would pick up a bargain E-P1, for example, Jessops is currently selling the E-P1 + 14-42mm kit lens for £299. I would then sell the lens via amazon, ebay or this forum for £100 or so, give someone else a bargain kit lens and you would have a perfectly great pen to use with your current lenses and not much more extra cost than you would have paid on the repair.
