September sunshine .. in the morning and late afternoon of Thursday and Friday of this week I'm driviing across the Somerset Levels ... and either I need to be somewhere or the traffic's too heavy or there's nowhere to stop ... so I just have to walk around locally and see what I can find ... this is OK but the blown sky annoys me ...

nice shot - weather looks too good for the forecasts that I have been watching on the BBC - but it,s good to see shots of the UK

14mm, (28mm) is not bad - in fact it's quite good on the M43 kit lens - (they are all overpriced but they seem to get away with it - IMHO, of course)

ISO160? - might be useful to have an ISO debate

I am an old film guy - I know it's not the same but I call ISO ASA - then I can associate with it although in the days of film when ASA400 came out it was really something

when I first got my G1 and EP-1 - I always set the ISO to 400, then maybe 800 if needed - sometimes 200.

I even complained on the forum that anything over ISO 800 was just "crap" on the EP-1 - but I was shot down, (a little) - I am a Nikon D300 shooter and Nikon high ISO is just mega - even better with the D3 or D700, (an FX bargain)
we then had a debate, and one of the conclusions was that 100 was never needed and that 200 gave the same results, but for all intents and purposes ISO400 was good to use even in good light conditions as it gave you a lot of "headroom"
    - Brian (M) - the Officer in charge also suggested that Auto ISO wasn't a bad "speed" to try and recently I have started using this setting

tickle the sky with a little LR3

anyway, I'm rambling - but that's a function of being an OAP, (no insults, please)

    Cheers

When the sun shines the light can be really lovely at this time of year. I think you've captured this in your photo. Strange that there are no people sitting on the benches.
