E-P1 M.Zuiko 17mm F2.8

As I've said to noodlehaus, this is the reason my cat has lately been sulking for lack of attention. I've been taking a lot of photos of/with the OM1n lately... anyway the weather is bad enough so it's best to just play inside the house.

I was actually choosing between the FM(1 or 2) and the OM but since there's no available EX condition FM at the time I was...

I think this was made by the breech lock Canon FD 50mm F1.8 and I really like that slight swirl in the bokeh. Shooting living things at longer focal lengths really helps in easing the subject.

Oh this post is about a cat, not fashion models.

*The cat's light green eyes look a bit weird though... maybe even a bit scary and surreal in my opinion.

I missed the focus on this photo without knowing it. I noticed it when I was reviewing my photos at the foot of the hill and I'm dead tired to go back.

No, it's not named after the famous gangster

It's an island off the South China Sea. It's an adventure spot. People usually camp out and hike around the island. It also has an old lighthouse.

I did not get the chance to go to the island... maybe someday.

well, not really...

The bus's window did all this. The flares and reflections are just everywhere! I swear that my M.Zuiko 17mm is innocent... Tried to clean the image as a challenge but the hell with it, I'll just destroy* the image!


*Depending on how you define "destroy"

This will be my last PAD photo. For 60 days, I've used only the (here's my verdict*) wonderful M.Zuiko 17mm F2.8 lens. Such a good looking lens that produces surprisingly good looking photos! It's a lens that started my love for the 35mm focal length. It's like everything right just falls into the frame!

*My verdict was based on pure enjoyment of using the lens and with it's results, not a comparison...
