The NIMBY folk often protest against wind farms being built because they feel they spoil the view of the countryside. Only recently discovered this one so thought I would drive closer to have a look. They are huge, but I don't mind them. Kind of relaxing watching them turn with the wind.

Not so happy with the photo though and too tired to try and fix it (sleep deprivation catching up with me after my night shifts). Never mind, tomorrow another day and another photo.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms most welcome.

Cheers, Briar

    Hi Briar

Nice potential in that shot, possibly play with the levels a bit then convert to b&w?

Is that the wind farm on the A68 just outside Edniburgh?

The sky is great - maybe just a tad dark in the foreground?

You know I'm not 100% sure which road it is on, I was at the back of West Calder somewhere, just driving aimlessly when I saw them peeking through the trees. It was near the Dog's Trust at West Calder because I passed there on the way back. The photo does need a little TLC to pick it up.

I really like the clouds... the tree line up with the windmills in an imaginary line too.
