One of the very few interesting aspects of Meadowhall (the major local shopping mall) is this amazing bronze statue...

E-P2 + mZD 9-18mm f4-5.6
1/25s f/4.0 at 9.0mm iso200

My gut feeling is that the mZD 9-18 is performing better than the ZD 9-18... sharper and more contrasty - and tiny!

C&C Welcome and appreciated.

Cheers

Brian

Very nice shot of an impressive figure. My grand father was a rural blacksmith, who worked for the railways later on, on steam engines, and the attitude is ... strikingly similar.

Nice sculpture, looks so odd with the handbags and scarves behind it.

I love the statue but I think they should have put it on the outside of the centre. In fact, I can hardly bear to think of it trapped in such mediocre surroundings. It deserves more than that!
