Brian, this is priceless! ARe they all still feeling let down after the soccer game?

Fantastic - now is this that new micro four thirds lens that I have been thinking about or a different one. I'm not very good with acronyms as in "ED".

Yes, BB it arrived this morning... I'm preparing a set for the forum with my first impressions. Keep an eye on my PAD from now on for examples.

This is the most exciting lens for m4/3rds since the 20mm f1.7... absolutely fantastic, flexible and beautifully made. You're going to love it!

    Cheers

Excellent! I am pre planning my menu for the next year...it will be gruel because that way I can have them all, this one, the 9-18mm and then get a new computer to do photography and I'll be all set.

Great shot, Brian and I'll be looking forward to your newsy thread!

I carried it on the E-PL1 today, it is long (though not as long as the PL 14-150mm f3.5-5.6) but very lightweight and nicely thin... I carried it by the body in my left hand with the wrist strap for security.

All I can say Brian is OMG! The sight is all too familiar up and down the country I fear :( They are probably off to Tesco for their "free" (well almost) beers!

Good image; most of our "cafés" are decorated with multiple flags, it's strange to see a pub only carrying the english cross (not even the union jack). But I'm sure I could find one here with only french colours, though almost nobody's ready to bet a dime on the french team this year.

a fine body of people - clearly some need a "good meal" to carry them through the day so that they can support the idiots who spend their time kicking a "ball of wind" around as my grandfather used to put it

Oh England what has happened to you

A great shot Brian, you have captured "as they have become today" for many people

    lovely capture

There seems to be something that has them upset. Perhaps the price of their favorite beverage has risen? Lovely lens though and the image is wonderful!

Excellent photo! I like how everything is drawing the eye to the central figure, who has a great expression. The folks on the outside are looking in, and the banners lead to her as well. Nicely seen.

    Interesting, indeed

Curious as to how the auto focus compares between the Panasonic and Olympus on the 14-140-150.

Hi Kurt, I'm sorry I haven't tried the 14-140, but the focusing technology appears to be similar to that used for the Lumix 14-45 and 45-200... silent and fast!

Thanks to everyone for looking, and for commenting.

    Cheers
