Tom bought me back a c-mount Cosmicar/Pentax 25mm f/1.4. This is the first shot to see how well it fits. The colours look nice to my eyes (shot in RAW and straight out of LR)!

Rainy day in NY sucks. Here is a shot way across the street from Bryant Park.

Taking a Pause

Posted August 23rd, 2010 at 04:15 PM by Maczero

Too rushed to do anything worthwhile. PAD is going to become PAAW (Picture as and When). Hopefully that will mean that there is something worth looking at rather than posting for posting's sake.

such beautiful light tonight ... bolted on the old Cosina 135mm M42 that I got for nothing ... dunno whether it's had a belt, or is dirty (tho' it looks clean enough) or whether it's just terrible CA, but it produces luminous images ... took a lot of snaps tonight, and this isn't necessarily my favourite, though it is perhaps the best balanced ... wind gusty so some shots were just blind as the subject flew out of frame ...

Day 51 - Edinburgh Fringe - Dr Faustus

Posted August 23rd, 2010 at 01:17 PM by Briar

Today's PAD is part me trying to take photograph of a zombie, part me trying to get away from zombie, part Zombie trying to get at me, and then post processing blurring! Not sure it works very well, my original focus was on the zombie's top hat but got lost pp. Despite that, I'm sort of liking the image but not completely sold on it.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticisms most welcome.

Cheers, Briar
